i came across a picture of this store in zürich.
i've been looking for an alternate way to store my clothes in a original fresh type setting. this will probably be how i do it.
the fact that it has a raw industrial type feel to it is nice, and will probably be a really organized way of storing my jacket and sweaters. industrial pipes cost next to nothing and because of all the connectors etc there are limitless variations.

probably get started on it next week and will post up how it turned up later.

lights fade the color?
are u serious?
i doubt the dust would be a problem if you actively use the closet. pulling clothes off and on the rack wont let dust settle to easily..

i am serious
i work in the fashion industry;
if you leaves clothes exposed for a longtime ( for example the stuff you were only once or twice a year ) the fabric will fade; especially at the shoulders ( the rest of the garments not being exposed )

Trust Me
Both dust and light will be a real problem, no-one wears all of their clothes all of the time.. those unworn ones will both fade and get dusty on the shoulders and the sleeves facing out...
Ever seen plastic covers over the shoulders of expensive gasrments in a boutique?..
dust !

This is the students wardrobe...
This is the students wardrobe, hooks ropes and old broom handles.
If you want a good cabinet get something like this made.
Jasper Morrison plan cabinets, theyre so obvious no-one could be accused of stealing the design, perhaps have them made in a decent plywood with a decent veneer?
Any office furniture manfuacturer should be able to do it for you.

closet design
Recently, I had my closet pimped. For years it was so dull and I got bored in its design. So I decided to changed my closet to a dull and boring to a classy and cool closet. I ask my friend if she knows a closet designer, then she gave me a site where I can find one. I asked for their help and now I am so glad on what they did.
