Is this a trick question?
The angle the photo was taken is not great, but they look like Kai Kristiansen.
Simon of the danish home store sold some, and the manufacturer given was S V Andersen, and I am not sure he is ever wrong.
But I ask if this is a trick ID, because it seems too easy. They are on the first page of a google image search for danish dining chair.
.
Well I was wondering if someone has a reason to believe they are NOT Kai Kristiansen. And the angle of the photo hides many distinctive details of the chairs.
It is odd that so recognizable a chair is not marked, and made by an "unknown" company.
I will say this: A good ID is one you should be able to substantiate with period documentation: the furniture index, catalogs, adverts, magazines, etc. And this ID is not one I can substantiate anywhere on the internet. Although many very reliable people say it is correct. I am not saying I personally doubt much this is a Kai Kristiansen, but I am saying if there are 100 pieces of furniture in the category of ID, then I wouldn't be surprised if 2 or 3 of them are incorrect.
