This coffee table is reminiscent of the SMILE coffee table by Johannes Andersen, although it has an altogether different configuration. For a start, the legs are detachable. The workmanship is however of very high quality. I am very intrigued since the only mark on the base is a stamp that reads - O.L. No. 55 - as shown. This is a mark that I have found on a dining table some time ago which was definitely by Andersen (with also an ULDUM Mobler stamp) Does anybody know anythingabout this coffee table? Whether it was a version of the smile table by another manufacturer or....???

I have one also
Hello,
I have a teak smile table which also has the same stamp. It is very high quality, and has different legs than yours. Mine are not detachable, are slightly angled, and have a bow-tie type peice between them. I will try to attach a pic if I figure out how. Did you ever get an answer ?
