did Knoll ever make the LC2 Corbusier sofa??  

I have the chance to buy a LC2-2 seater sofa and the dealer swears it is a 1960s or 1970s Knoll production piece.

I have looked it over and the double-woven support straps are rubber and the cushions are high quality leather. The frame is black and the overall construction is nearly identical to a Cassina version. Did Knoll produce the LC line? Were all Cassina pieces stamped under the arm? Thanks for helping me out. The sofa is $1,200.00 and I usually dont spend that high of an amount on myself for unsigned pieces.
