Does not look like a reproduction, but does look quite new. Does it have a Knoll stamp on the base?

any idea on where I'd find a stamp, because I'm not seeing one? The only thing I can see, is a spot where there looks like there was a label, on the front cross-bar.

I'd say that your lovely chair is indeed a Knoll product. Can you flip the fabric inside-out? The front under-bar is where the Knoll sticker was placed on these (I think?). Yours fell off, probably. That is the same place that My Knoll womb chair sports it Knoll label (different designer, though).

yep
that's exactly where the sticker was. I can see a bit of the sticky residue. You can see the sticker on the fabric (in my earlier photo). So, thinking it's NOT vintage. you? bit disappointed.
