I think the gorilla is far better executed. This bear looks very crude in comparison. But I'm sure some people will like that better.

Much in agreement. The gorilla has an attractive presence, more modern execution. The bear, like you stated, is crude. But I'll add that the bear has a modern folksy charm to it, appealing in it's own right.
