Any way to tell who made this ... or to test quality (best indicators)? I know this is a repro (all them are really) because he stated the original price to be 900. Does it look "right" to you?

I wonder if it's one of those DWR repros before they got the licensed versions ... we do have a DWR down the street. He bought it from someone ... not a store..

Big thing
One big thing about this piece is how the straps are constructed under the pads. The Cassina pieces have a broad strap - the knock-offs have thin wires.
A few years back a client of mine offered me his (for a price) because he thought it was very uncomfortable. (not a very good salesman) Turns out, his had wire holding the pad, and it cut into his legs under the knee joint.
If this has wires I wonder if you could modify them somehow to be more comfortable.
