So many great options out...
So many great options out there. To name a few:
Obelisk by Erik Herlow for Copenhagen Cuttlery
AJ Flatware by Arne Jacobsen for A. Michelson/Georg Jensen
Variation IV, V, Fjord, Odin, Tjorn by Quistgaard for Dansk
Maya by Tias Eckhoff
Lauffer Design 3

Cool-Looking vs. Cool
The proof is in the pudding... or in the cutting of mustard... or something like that.
It's important to remember that "form equals function"... an idea lost on too many flatware designers. Unless you really don't care at all, remember to pay attention to the business end and try before you buy. So many of the great-looking designs simply perform poorly in use.

Roger that tktoo... Over the last few years I've collected here and there a set of Dansk "JETTE". While I find them incredibly beautiful to look at, I have found them somewhat awkward and disappointing to use, and almost always forgo them in favor of the decidedly less "cool" variation V...but what a joy they are to handle...

Practice makes perfect, Solange.
How wonderful an exercise for those special "obligation" dinner guests! Oh, the sublime schadenfreude!! Remind me to serve beets!!!

seems like a rather...
seems like a rather ineffective tool of persuasion, not quite menacing enough... the slightly uncomfortable fork. I prefer to let my resentments smolder with guests I have prior unspoken grievances with...slights real, or imagined 🙂

KnifeForkSpoon by Jasper...
KnifeForkSpoon by Jasper Morrison for Alessi; the polished version. Reasonably priced and functional.

David Mellor
If you're in the UK, then perhaps something by David Mellor? I'm a big fan of Pride

Adding
to tktoo's comment. If you can, try before you buy or buy a single setting of what you were interested in and try it at home a few times. There are some very cool looking patterns out there that do not function well and want to roll in the hand. Dansk Odin is another one of these. They seem to need a bit of width and or flatness to the handles to work. I use Quistgaard's Dansk variation iv. The have good balance and added texture (essentially knurling) to the handles that make them very stable. I also use a partial set of a Lauffer Bedford which are quite nice. Many good lauffer sets are undervalued as well.

Just... Sambonet!
I just loved my Sambonet cutlery! They are time-less
You could choose between different collections, according to your preferences, but in my opinion they're all are elegant and nice!

Cool cutlery
I also agree with tktoo. Function is key with cutlery. After purchasing a number of single knives from different manufacturers, I learned that extremely sleek cutlery with thin handles, although beautiful, tended to rotate in the hand during use and were not extremely comfortable to hold for extensive periods. I was looking for everyday cutlery with a satin finish, (which limited my selection), and ended up with the iitala citterio 98 series. I have had the set for a number of years now with no complaints.

Iittala. Ahh, touch screen computers and my failing to proofread until after the fact.

other manufacturer
AllthingsStig,
You may also find the Antonio Citterio with Oliver Low, Citterio 98 flatware with the Hackman mark prior to their acquisition by Iittala.

Cool cutlery
Thank you, niceguy. I knew that Tapio Wirkkala designed knives for Hackman but had no idea that Citterio's 98 series was originally manufactured by Hackman. I am now going to check it out. Gotta love this forum!
