If you remember the thread a few months back about the Late 1950's Rosewood Eames 670/671 that I picked up on CL for 250$, then heres outcome on the restoration.
They fixed the buttons the veneer chips and the cracked leather on the ottoman. The overall shells of the chair where NOT* touched cause refinishing them is always a bad idea. Also I made sure the leather guy didn't ruin the classic crunchy black leather look. All the metal was polished and the feet where cleaned and all the parts where re-oiled for a longer life. The guy told me the shock-mounts where in great shape, he said to make them last longer, just add some wood epoxy to the already glued mounts, and I did just that.
It cost 600$ for the restore and 250$ for the chair. thats about the price of one of those crappy knock offs! so I am pretty happy about it.
here are the pictures I promised...
Check them out! Thanks!

For starters i love the adrian pearsall table i have 3 of them personally and am always thrilled to see more 😛
second the chair looks great!
third who made that arch lamp over the chair I have seen several over the years but i know someone who has one just like that and would like to know more about it. Most dont have the big bee hive on top or are that large....Also does yours hang low because hers only hangs approximately 5'7" off the ground which we thought was very low...
thankyou!
I love the adrian pearsall tables too, the one I have was actually a great find on CL too, and for the lamp...I got that at a yard sale two years ago, it looks authentic but its hard to tell, I know that the real one is called Castiglioni Arco Lamp. I got a friend that has a real one, and mine looks the same. And thank you that chair is one of the most prized possession I hope to past down to my kids one day.
Id love to see some pics of your tables...
alright thanks very much!

alright thanks very much!
the Adrian Pearsall tables i have are a Jacks from CL for 45 bucks well worth the hour and a half drive 😛 its in rough shape i might refinish it due to some splitting of the wood and it could use to be restrained :/ I was hoping I wouldn't have to but upon pick up I realized it had seen better days
I also have http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_item_detail.php?id=443568&cur_tab= which i have seen attributed to adrian pearsall but im really not sure :/ but i picked it up for 55 bucks on CL
then i got http://www.1stdibs.com/furniture_item_detail.php?id=489592&cur_tab= being offered in an auction as a "Lane coffee table" and I snagged it for 45 bucks.
and the base of my friends lamp is just a super heavy flat piece of what i believe is lead D: bahaha with one hole drilled in it. but the rest of the lamp looks fairly accurate. Especially with its size and the bee hive mesh behind the bulb I have not seen many others of that size and with that so im guessing its missing the original base...either way she spent i believe 200 bucks on it and it has to be rewired and have the curve fixed... She likes to overpay sometimes.

^^^^ By the way immediately after i posted that a reply to you i went thrifting! I was browsing around the lamp section as i always do praying that there will finally be a good lamp! Its not often that I find good lamps. On the shelf was a silver bowl it looked exactly like a Castiglioni Arco Lamp Shade. I raced around trying to find the lamp unfortunately they only had the lamp shade.
I bought it for 3.25 figured there has to be someone out there looking for a replacement shade and doesn't want to buy another lamp to get one :/ I was going to throw it up on ebay how much do you think i should start it out?
Not looking to make a lot off it just sell it fast to someone who has probably been looking all over for one. As far as i can tell there are no shade replacements offered online :/
