@leif-ericson @lexi @herringbone Eden did produce furniture themself To be sure this desk is in fact by Clausen and Maerus (since there is only one source sofar) and not by Verbruggen and Goldschmidt (who also designed furniture for Fristho and Spectrum) i wrote to the foto archive of Jaap d'Oliveira who fotografed the furniture of Vand G and also for Eden t ask if i could visit the archive May be a indirect source however you can find a lot of furniture by using fotographer as a source seefor example maibeeldbank and use Polak (APoriginals is the name of the produced furniture) am you seewhy i think (or GUES) the lexi chair in this tread is by Polak ( also useful for pastoe spectrum and fristho)
may question are you sure it is in fact a Clausen and Manus desk??? if i understand correctly is one source mats Linder (a good source) but not a proof foto/text that goes with it. so are you sure??
and whats thet date around and about of production you would think 48 up to 58?
a picture of furniture designed by Verbruggen and Goldschmidt
@wesemael. Thank you for those links.Any piece of information is welcome. I think ,if I can trust Google translate, that " vervaardigen" means maker. Correct me if this is wrong. So, possibly Verbruggen and Goldschmidt produced /made the desks, which were retailed by Eden.
With regards to Mats Linder:- I would consider him a very reliable source, especially in relation to Norwegian designs /makers/designers ( though nobody is infallible). He has not shared the relevant pages of the book he wrote"Møblene er fra Rastad og Relling", He is also a businessman after all!!
Knowledge shared is Knowledge gained
@lexi vervaardigen is making vervaardiger is maker I hope to see the pictures of Oliveira off the desk to be more sure
the last link shows a room designed by verbruggen and goldschmidt some of the chairs can be found in the same archive online the desk however not it is possible they just used it in the intorior design
https://archief.amsterdam/beeldbank/?mode=gallery&view=horizontal&q=verbruggen&page=1&reverse=0
you can use verbruggen as a keyword (above) or goldschmidt or eden
the photo in your tread with the two pages is off the book by matts?
still parts the foto'sare mssing due to 'rights'rherefore i mailed the archive of the fotographer directly
