I am trying to find out who designed this couch. It is in three sections (L shape) and is made of 3/16 chrome rod welded together with a canvas (with leather corners)support for the cushions on the seats. The arm rests are curved with four (4) side by side wire rods that connect to a piece of wood both on the back and on the front. Click on the X then click on photobucket to see the photos. Thank you for any information about this couch.

.....
takes after Kem Weber, but lacks the fluidity and ,in some cases, bulk of his design....maybe another production of Troy Sunshade...Beautiful sofa...i have an affinity towards tubular/metal furniture...i think due only to my metal working background, because in reality it can many times appear cold and harsh....still love it, such form and rigidity that cant always be achieved with wood....

This piece was discussed a few years ago. I think the only definitive answer was that it was distributed by Stendig.

Charles Stendig
Hello, I spoke with Charles Stendig this afternoon and after studying photos of the couch he said that he did not import it and did not know who did or who designed it. He was very kind and we spoke of the furniture business in the late 50's and 60'. He is contacting some friends who might know something about the couch. I am still searching.
