I have been called a lot of things in my lifetime , but "psycho"... that's a new one!! 😧 

I meant in an endearing, laudatory, and vaunted way! A thousand thousand pardons. 

@lexi, I wouldn't take it personally.

There's a lot of pressure these days and projection is often a cry for help.

@tktoo2. No worries... I have the skin of a rhino. 😆  I have been called worse.

Adding 'psycho' to my list of terms of endearment.

@stick. I know things get lost in translation... but "knowledgeable", " helpful"  might have been better choices.

 I guess “addict” also has the occasional negative connotation 

And really, I swear and swear, it was meant in the most honorific sense possible

@tktoo2. Too funny. In a moment of frustration I called my husband a "lumphead" the other day. Another term of "endearment" after 40 years of marriage!!

@lexi, @stick, Whilst on the subject, perhaps the most endearing quality of your chair is the level of craftsmanship involved with fastening the leather. Evidenced by the stamp, a level of pride was involved as well.

FTR, I spent a little time in effort to ID origin, too, figuring this one would be easy. Ha!

P.S. I've been married long enough that words are often unnecessary when a quick, less-than-subtle facial expression will do.

I’ve often enjoyed a thread about sun damage repair, in which a know-nothing jerk ran afoul of tktoo (despite the latter’s abiding patience and delicate advice). I fear that I’ve inadvertently become what I’ve so pleasingly scorned. Oy.
