Hi!
I bought this chair on a flea market in Bergen Norway after falling in love with it. I have tried to find out more about the design without any luck. It looks a bit like the rocker by Frank Reenskaug.
I would really appreciate all the help that I could get to solve this mystery.

I would say that it is most...
I would say that it is most likely a modification by the producer, which is very typical for at least a lot of Norwegian producers. The furniture in the movie appears to be new prototypes. If your familiar with the furniture industry you?ll find that a lot of furniture undergoes some alterations after they?ve been displayed for the first time.
Some of the problems may first appear on the furniture fair when it?s being used by thousands of visitors.
I?ve believe that it is the same model, but a later version.

Most interesting.
I'd be happy to see more videos like that one.
The turned stretcher added to the sides of the chair could only help if it were stressed in tension -- meaning that it would have to be well pinned or wedged at its ends. The dining chair shown near the end of the video has such stretchers -- essential in the case of that design.
Wish we had an English translation of the video -- and a date ?
