did you check the underside of the table? EON has an interesting hinged mechanism for the extra leaves. there may even be a lable on the extra leaves.

EON Chairs
I have six chairs like this. The foam in the back has disintegrated but the upholsterer can't figure out how to remove the cover. There is a screw in the middle of the back but removing it doesn't seem to do anything. Any ideas?

My first guess would be a flat, 2-part clip. The part on the inside back slides into its mate on the outer back. The screw in the center might just be holding it in place once the clip is engaged.
Try tapping the inside back upwards with a rubber mallet on the lower edge---just very gently.
