c&b italia chair

i recently acquired this chair. Is c&b italia a knockoff of b&b italia or are they just different companies, anyone know the age of it perhaps or any information?

Same
C&B Italia and B&B Italia are one in the same company. They changed names sometime in the 1970's I believe.

C&B = Cassina &...
C&B = Cassina & Busnelli
B&B = Banks & Busnelli (i.e. Italian banks, who became investors in the company when Cassina pulled out). Or so I was told!
