the mirror is contemporary and generic, the phone is a Trimphone, can't figure out anything else... that sideboard looks too cool to be unbranded!

Gad
The lamp is a Deco-era Bauhaus wanna-be -- too Hollywood by half, I'd say, to be much else -- like the overwrought mirror frame ? (Hollywood, not Deco or Bauhaus, that -- I mean.)
The case piece is rich and interesting -- especially with that wild and wooly base stretcher !

1960s
almost certainly 1960s and most probably British. I wouldn't say it was a well-known designer more of a mid-range piece. although I like the swoop of the stretcher i'd say the rest was a little too 'retro'...the end panels look a little clunky to my eye.

Thanks folks, noted. I'm asking these questions because this is the place to ask. I'd prefer an ID forum too. Forum 2.0 ftw

right answer for the question
robert1960,
The reply Lit Up gave is a valid answer. Should you not feel satisfied you are certainly free not to reply and of course include a "snappy" comeback. I do not believe anyone will miss your valuable information. Lit UP is my kind of guy, in that he only answers the qusetion asked with the minimum of information provided. He would do well in a US court.

Two cretins make eye contact across a crowded room. The rest, as they say, is history.
