can anyone identify...
 

can anyone identify this mod art?

I was hoping someone could help me date and identify these,they are two frames with different views on each side, the frame is aluminum and inside are plastic/lucite slide in different shapes/colors, there are no markings that i can find

Lisa, I have one of these (in green) as well. They are by a "known" artist whose name escapes me. I think I have it written down at my weekend home. I'll check on Saturday and let you know.

Hi jesgord...did you ever find the info you had on these? Or do you know of any resources that might be helpful, I have searched online but haven't come up with anything when trying to describe them.
anyone know of any book that might help?

I suspect these
may be designed to be opened and the graphic rearranged at will -- a sort of "interactive art" ? But I have no idea who designed or made them. . .
They seem to be table pieces, visible from both sides ?

I checked mine out at my...
I checked mine out at my weekend home. Thought I had put a label on the bottom with the artist's name....but no....and I can't remember.

I did some checking around and did confirm these are by Greg Copeland, He had an art studio in NYC in the 60's, if you get a chance could you post a photo of yours, I would love to see it

Technology marches on: It's not perfect yet, but the Google Goggles app might have been helpful here. On the down side, we would have missed this little morsel of civilized discussion.
