What is the
beige material -- paint, or laminate/foil ?
Foil, by the way, is the name given to the plastic sheet covering applied to a wood composite substrate -- particle board or MDF, usually. Think IKEA or those faux paneled kitchen doors, where it is heated and vacuum-drawn over the carved substrate.

It looks like the whole drawer is made of the white laminated material. Is that the case, or is it painted inside and out?
