wo knows? there are no markings on it however there is a rectangular black label that has been removed from underneath

Maybe you could invest in some books Graeme.
Finding lovely old books is just as nice as turning up furniture, you can never have enough.

Yeah we have some lovely old books,however our lovely old furniture isn't in any of the lovely old books,so I have to keep relying on the lovely old people on lovely old design addict

because the edge of it is...
because the edge of it is left on there,it's around 2 inches long and quite thin

Ah yes books I remember those. Mr moon you are verging on the ridiculous "buy a book" what you mean leave the house spend precious time learning. I say now it will never catch on!

looking from above it bows out slightly in the middle giving it a swollen centre too,can't really make that out from the photo

Jalk Juhl? Fail. I've seen dozens of these over the years (I even found one in the attic of the house I live in). They're slightly sub G Plan and I saw one once with label for Shaftesbury Furniture (no mark 60s UK 'me too' company)- and a million miles away from Jalk or Juhl or anyone else half decent in terms of design, materials and construction. read a book, try again. But not here.

Some minor differences. The cross bars on Graeme's table are lower than on Riki's. Riki's table extends a little far out on either ends.
