Got a puzzle for you. Just got these chairs, but don't know who manufactured/designed them. Maybe an early prototype of the dux scissor chair? They are made of walnut and how some of the legs are constructed, it reminds me of the A-frame legs on certain drexel declaration pieces.

seems like it has a more american or swedish aesthetic to it, not yugoslavian.

I don't know the origin, but
the finish looks like walnut-tinted lacquer, which I've seen a lot on American and Yugoslavian furniture.

I sanded and BLO'ed the...
I sanded and BLO'ed the pieces and now it is a beautiful natural walnut color. Found another pair for sale on etsy.

the legs are extremely close, especially the outer one. Mine have the screw on the outside to connect the two legs. Anyways, does anyone which country used the biggest dowels? Most of the danish stuff used smaller dowel thickness. Maybe the thicker dowels were used earlier in the 50's.
