I actually saw a Mantis floor lamp produced by Swedish company Bergboms a couple of years back. Yellow shade and white base if I remember correctly. Bergboms was the company who also produced the Swedish version of Greta Grossman's Grasshopper lamp, among many other nice lamps.

Thanks Paulanna-certainly make sense. Attached is a shot of the re-issue version of the Mantis table lamp. I think the floor version works better. I prefer the base above for a table lamp. The wall hanging version is also pretty cool...but a bit too much mouille-esque for me
NOT arteluce
The Arteluce Mantis lamp is made at a much later date than yours(1980's) and I believe it is a Miranda design. you can google Arteluce Mantis or look here: http://www.kingmiranda.com/en/about/awards/1983-2/
It is purely a confusion. There are actually quite a few models of lamps called Mantis made by a few different manufacturers and designed by different designers at various point in time form the 1950's up to now. Cheers!
I just posted the info on...
I just posted the info on Bergboms, because I thought it'd be helpful for someone to know that the lamp was also produced under license in Sweden.
I was not aware the Arteluce attribution was faulty. However the Bergboms Mantis really is an actual licensed version of Schottlander's design and manufactured in the 1950's.
