Just curious
This chair was shipped with an ottoman. Did they say what happened to it?

It says ES 670671, indicating...
It says ES 67071, meaning 670 and 671, indicating that it was manufactured as a set, I believe.

Yes that is correct
Yes a 67071 would have an ottoman. If it just had 670 it would be a chair only

housekebab... why?
house kebab lays low
lurking, absorbing inFO
self actualized?
or
kebab you are where?
while we consider your chair
new? used? soiled gunpoint?

Great guess by kin1117 and EamesHead!
Interestingly, the asking price was exactly $1700, but I got no response from the seller, so it must have sold quick.

aw just missed, i'm sorry kebab
Maybe 1700 is a little closer to "great" than "good"? Perhaps kin1117 can elaborate a little more on the nuances of the range. He/she seems to know...
next time you'll jump fast
a great price never does last
knowledge in the womb
next one coming by
in an hour - on the fly.
less soiled maybe?
one thing kebab is-
is patient. variables
all sorted and diced
what might house kebab
want next? when his chair provides
no more text? a lamp?

It was a lucky guess on my part. But for me, I probably wouldn't buy any recent productions (post 90's) for more than $2800 even if the set was in prestine condition. And I'm talking about in walnut veneer because santos palisander is different. I figured a used ottoman by itself would cost no more than $700. So $2800-$700 is $2100 and I take away a few hundred bucks for it being an incomplete set. I know it's totally arbitrary.
Btw HouseKebab, no loss for you because I came across this chair on an eBay listing. The shells were in very bad shape and it sold for around $1400 plus $300 shipping. In fact, who knows if it actually sold because the listing ended at that amount.

It's back on the...
It's back on the market.
Not sure what to offer.
I think they want $2000 now.
