thanks, I did find that info ...
thanks, I did find that info today as well and to find out more the site ask art is a pay site. Today I found a label tucked away in the back of the painting with a Memphis address and phone number, the painting is an oil he titled "Northern Night" the couple that owned it said they had it since the early 60's I'm not a fan of yellow but I love the way it looks where I've hung it and it's a nice size at 51"x21"
I also found this http://www.modhaus.com/detail.asp?id=13366
I have one, also
I have a Jack Sibley painting that my mother bought me at a show in Little Rock in about 1964. It's Pollock-esque, in that it's a drip painting, done in yellows, greens, a blue-green, black, and white. Mine also has a little paper tag on the back with a Memphis address and phone and the title of the piece. It's hung in my home or office ever since.
I'll try to remember to take a photo and post it on this thread, and I don't mind being bugged about doing so.
