Bad experience so far
I recently purchased a Poliform Zoe bed and dresser through them. The bed's frame and the dresser were damaged badly enough to refuse shipment on them. Several other items were slightly damaged but we were requested to accept delivery and a furniture repair company would come and fix the problems. Its been about two months since delivery now and we're still waiting on getting this resolved. We're expected to have everything resolved by the end of november. We placed the order some time in april. My experience hasn't been very good so far.

thanks for the input
I have been looking at buying the bonacina pierantonio people bed, but have been very worried about receiving a damaged product and having to go through what you are going through. Thanks for the input and sorry to hear about your experience...

europe by net
purchased a desalto lifter table and 4 zip chairs from them about a year ago as they were much cheaper than the shops near me. Then got a further 15% off as it was my first order with them. Not sure if they still do this. Had to be ordered from Italy as I wanted 'opaque extra clear glass'(none standard) so was prepared to accept some delay in delivery. Nevertheless, was delivered some months later more or less as promised. Very well packed, (table top is one sheet of very expensive glass) and no damage to table or chairs. sadly the chairs were matt finish and not the chrome finish I had ordered. These had to be reordered from Italy as not a normal item they supply in chrome at the time. So wrong chairs collected by courier and approx 3 mnth wait for replacements to arrive from italy(slightly longer than promised). But arrived intact, very well packed again ,and myself very happy with what I purchased and the price I paid. Not so happy with the number of times I had to ring them up and get a progress report. At times was never sure if my replacements had been ordered or would ever arrive as every time I rang up no one seemed to Know anything about my problem, or the individual dealing with it was either day off, or not starting work till later that day, or on holiady or something. But at the end of the day I got a great deal, i was never in a real hurry to receive them, so didn't mind the delays. I was just nervous at times as to what was going on (if anything) and anoyed at the number of times I felt it necessary to ring them for a progress report/reassurance things were progressing. Not necessarily the easiest company to deal with.Nice website though

still discounting
They are still offering a discount, but now at 10% for first time buyers to a max of $300. Essentially the total cost would be about $2000 less for the bed from europebynet compared to what I could get from a showroom here in the US. However I have never had any items imported without them being damaged/destroyed by our friendly US customs. I had a glass top broken 3X as essentially customs would rip the packaging to check the item (and even one time someone decided to walk on it). Thx for the opinion on europebynet

What is their pricing like?...
What is their pricing like? I don't see the prices listed on their website but I read somewhere that their prices are like 50% of regular US retail prices...is that really true? What about shipping charge to US destinations?
