100% agree
Hey loft. First thanks! I love doing things like this and I'm getting a lot of encouragement at home and around to keep going.
I totally agree about the listing! It was done in haste and at the prodding of the misses. I almost expected little response. Was very far from that. I will certainl take more time (and credit) in exact description of all the details. Makes more sense that they would want a hand made version rather than a lot of the repro junk out there anyway.
I will be making a few more for certain. I also have a few designs of my own up my sleeve. Also building a modern mini crib and dresser set in the next few weeks.
I am in the good ol' US right in the heart of the Midwest. Trying not to advertise, but let me know if anyone has interest. ashlea30@gmail dot com.

Dave,
Curious where you were able to obtain the proper hollow steel in order to fashion your lamp? Looks great!

I haven't built a mid-century modern type lamp, but I did build an LED set-up for my reef tank. Does that count? 😉

I wonder if you could tell me some of the tools needed in producing your lamps for instance the first what sort of welding equipment did you use and what did you use to bend the metal. I must tell I have only ever worked with wood so I am a novice with metal!

The Guariche-inspired lamp looks quite good!
Did you salvage all of the parts from other lamps?

thanks! the shade was salvaged and the swivels etc. were from the parts bin at a vintage lighting store. pipe bending, tapping the threads and welding up a mounting bracket were done myself.

I know you posted this a while ago but I was wondering if you were still interested in making anymore of these lamps. I would love to buy one so please let me know if you are.

Great wall light!
I also am interested to know if you can make more of these and would like to sell them. I am working on a design project and would like something like this, but we don't have the budget for "the real thing".... Thanks!
