These tiles are in our funky bungalow. I love them some days, hate 'em others. If we decide to replace the fireplace surround, are these worth putting on ebay? Anybody have any info?

German perhaps? They remind me of Schaffenacker.

Great tiles !
If you're considering removing them, why not offer the fireplace complete, on the proviso the buyer is responsible for removal ?
That way somebody gets the option of keeping the entire fireplace (which is super) AND does the work for you.
If this route fails, then try taking the tiles off and selling them.
I'm sure they'd sell on eBay as a set if you can remove them safely.

I think your fireplace looks great, it would be a shame to break it up. I hope you reconsider.

I Agree
with Killian
It's a super original feature and it'd be fun to decorate around it

if you want to change up the fireplace at least save those tiles and re purpose them somewhere else in the house, they are too cool not to.
has anyone seen the new television series ...no ordinary family? I think that's what it's called, it's filmed in a super home with eclectic style and i am in love with the kitchen wall tile or panel that looks like tile. I first noticed it on a tv commercial that was filmed in that same kitchen.

You were posting the album not the actual image.

Fabulous tiles
The tiles are a unique feature. A shame you can't integrate them into your interior plans. The colours remind me of John Piper paintings. Really nice.

I'd buy them!
I love your tiles and think you'd have no problem selling them on ebay. I've been searching for retro tiles like yours for my late 60's kitchen remodel. Any chance you'd pull them off right now?

funny lady you
Not today, Margo, having a love 'em day! I had been struggling with how best to work around them because I do genuinely like them, but have since found sofas (blue) that work for the husband (and dogs). Now if I could just figure out what to do with the annoying magnolia walls....
