i know some here are tired of the "chair", but i gotta get this off my chest.
i have 2 chairs, and occasionally some one weighing close to 200 lbs will sit on it, thankfully for a short time.
my question, at what point would the stess be too much and damage chair? it seems to defy holding a lot of weight.
viv
vivienne is awesome.
maybe someone should make a website pandering to questions about the most knocked-off and over rated chairs in the world ... ever.
so boring.
i cannot even look at my knoll barcelonas anymore as recently my grocery store chair has started selling them.
classy!
Yes modernisbetter...
I see the problem here!.Its like when stores such as Habitat sell their "limited edition" goods, thats limited in the sense that they only produce about 10000 of course! and people flock to buy them.Either use a different grocery store so you dont have to see them there or sell them immediately and buy a vase and two floor cushions with the proceeds, then just pretend that you have gone minimalist in extremis.Oh and thanks for the "Awesome" tag..next time im told off for singing in the street in the early hours i will tell the cute policeman that i am not drunk..i am just being awesome!.
You sure about that?...
Ha ha Robert, im not that bad!...Let me state now that i am not fattist or biggist or whateverist, but i do know from personal experience that some visitors are not like others, some will sit and some will slouch all over the chair, some will get the fine crystal at the glass table and others will get the habitat ones at the wooden table, some wipe their feet while others dont and so on..all i was saying is that if an over "large" person called i would sit them on an appropriate chair and not a flimsy one.Isnt that just being practicle?, im sure that a "biggie" would be terribly embarrassed if he/she broke something as a result of accute overload.Your the chap with the tweeds arent you Robert?..mmmm, any tattoos?.
