I just acquired two chairs at a furniture consignment store that were labeled as "Eames molded plywood chairs". The chairs are black, have circular shock mounts, 11 screws on the bottom and two on the back. There is no label. My concern is that the fasteners are allen head type screws. Does this mean they are not authentic Eames LCW chairs?

And did the tag read "eames style" chair? I have been in shops where they were selling reproductions as authentic pieces and the person selling was a dealer of MCM furniture...you have to be careful sometimes. even the experts can sometimes be dishonest or just as uninformed as you.
