Does it make you feel pretty?
My first impression concerns scale. Size matters.

Many thanks, design poodles.
I'll let the thing hang for a week or so. Your advice has been wonderful.
Fondly,
Your Aunt Mark
ps these day's, the only thing that makes me feel pretty is a proper pair of conservative pants ( as shown below prior to lunch today), a decent pair of shoes, and a stiff drink.

I like it but I think it needs ivy, and some gilding, and an elf.

The mirror provides
a bit of what's typically lacking in modern structures: weight, and fine material, and a kind of sculptural shadow-play that only classical molding provides. To be at home in a modern setting, however, perhaps it needs more space around it ? Or maybe it's just too carefully centered on that wall . . .
Anyway, the pants are to die for. And, Heath, don't call her Lilly . . .

Needs legs
I would have no problem finding a place for it..... I say turn it into an end table. I grew up with aunties in S.F. who had a wonderful bathroom with a mirrored tray next to the sink with perfume bottles on it. Made a lasting impression on me.... How big is your bathroom Uncle Mark??
