i could get this old Swan, is the age explained by sticker?
This one is 7212,means that, it`s made in 1972 or how could i know the age?It has a 4 star base and the tube is not round, but formed like the base.
What do you think about the worth? I did`nt found any old swan.
Thanks in advance

This looks like a height...
This looks like a height adjustable model only. Its the original version of this chair, and a nice find. It looks like the foam is turning to dust though.
I can't see if its a tilting version, so I assume its not.
A common value for one that needs refoamed and maybe new upholstery, is 500-800 US dollars.
I have a height adjustable, tilt back model, recovered in new leather, which can be valued near 2000 in mint shape. I actually like original, tattered leather ones, with no height or tilt options. It costs 900-1000 to get one redone properly in leather.
Value always depends on how long you want to wait for a buyer.
You could sell it in a hurry for 500-600, or you could wait 1-2 years and get 900-1000. Just like the guy wanting to know what is a proper price for an Eames lounge chair. Its all about marketing, and selling style.

thanks for your fast and...
thanks for your fast and detailed answer.
Your right, the foam is turning to dust and it is`nt a tilt version.
The fabric and base are good. But in this condition ,it is to expensive. I`m only a novice collector and the chair is not far away, so there is a great temptation.
Thanks without a swan in my pond.
