Is this a adrian pearsall wingback chair? I could not find any labels and its a orange crushed velet fabric.I saw some furniture pickers bring it to a thrift mall in my area, and i inquired about it, they said 25$ the joints on the wood legs and strechers need to be reglued and new fabric and foam would do it nice
i dont have any more photos unfortunately. as i didnt buy it yet, and only have there contact info. they were on the sketchy side so i wont be getting back to inspect it unless i was to buy it.
i could draw it tho if that would help.
some more detais about it is, there is springs to support the butt cushion. the wood looked to be a maghonany by the gran pattern but some type of stain applied?
I had noticed that but was thinking in the back of my head that the OP's chair had been reupholstered and that detail was lost. If I'd given it more conscious thought, I would have realized that this kind of change would have been unlikely.
The seat also looks less deep, not that we need another difference noted. The type of seat upholstery is enough.
So now I submit that the Pearsall chair is a knockoff of the OP's, based solely on the propensity for Pearsall to knock-off others' designs.
Could it possibly be a p-priceless... P-P-Pearsall... P-P-P-PROTOTYPE?!?!
Oh, Gawd! I feel like I'm channeling Mark this morning (sans wardrobe). I should be punished. And, spanky, we all know you didn't come by your handle by accident, so go ahead and do your thing. But, please, be gentle. It's early yet.
