I have that exact same teak cat. I have quite a bit of cat stuff around the apartment...including the real one. I really like that metal cat that you have. I also have alot of penguin stuff...been collecting penguins since I was little. I still love penguins, but they were really cluttering up the space so I've gotten rid of most of the penguin stuff over the years, and just kept the nicer or intersting pieces.

yep, but many were in pairs, a few groups of three and some nesting sets that were more like six or eight dolls. It was something like 70 listings all together, which isn't that much. Someone had collected them for fifty years or more. It was really fun to have them all for at least a little while.
I didn't even buy the whole collection, maybe only about three fifths of it. I've never seen that many kokeshi at an auction--not even close!
