Makes me wonder...
I'm the first one to admit that my taste is not mainstream. But looking at those three monstrosities, especially the last one, makes me wonder how people actually form their personal tastes. I can't even conceive of how someone could think that pink fringe is a good idea on a sofa. Especially with a formal (and hideous) fabric.
It's just amazing to me that folks can develop a preference for things that I think are so visually terrifying! I can understand making choices that puts function, or comfort, before form, but I have a hard time relating to the idea that someone finds those sofas appealing.
.
The second sofa in the group of three reminds me of all the sofas I saw in small English homes years ago, I don't think much of it either but they were of their place and in a warm room with a bowl of apple and rhubarb crumble and a pot of tea, mmmmm, I don't know but I think they achieve something that a schmick contemporary sofa is incapable of.
