There are definitely a few things that I wish IKEA still made. This could be a way to find them.

i would buy some vintage chairs Panton did for ikea back in the 80's but not some random 2nd hand kitchen table, i can get those from the car boot sales...

I would love to get my hands on the Panton Ikea chair... and I have bought second hand Ikea furniture. But my questions are about quality and construction.
The only things I could see buying second hand would be things like desks, single piece plastic items, coffee tables. Basically nothing that holds the human body - sofas, beds, chairs. Cause thats just gonna rock apart underneath you.
