We came across this dresser and purchased it. It is produced from Primavera and has a remarkable likeness to Edward Wormley Dressers - Primavera, drawers of different sizes and even the handles are a close likeness.
It is labelled "Woodrums" which was a very famous furniture store in Charleston, WV and at one time one of the top in the nation (they retailed and did not produce or design). They mainly purchased form the Grand Rapids area - almost exclusively.
Like other major retailers at that time they had the rights to remove manufacturer labels and place their own on.
This Dresser is top quality but features other construction aspects that are not in other makers we know of. See construction of inside drawers etc.
We thought perhaps this may have been a forerunner to the later lines produced by Edward Wormley that became more well known.
Stands about 46" tall, 36" wide and 20" deep.
Any information that may lead us in the right direction would be very much appreciated.
