Hi,
Three years ago I bought a newly made Womb Chair and ottoman, a showroom model from a certified furniture dealer in Belgium. At that time I did not pay attention tot any stickers or tags on the bottom of the chair. So my question is: does an orginal Knoll Womb Chair carry a signature? If it does, I fear i bought a fake Womb Chair, because mine hasn't a logo or something like that.

The earlier ones
had no marks or logos, I think they started stamping the legs in the 90's?
The best thing to do is to send photos to Knoll themselves. They're very helpful. Pay attention to the seams, the clips that hold the cushion in place and also the weld joints on the leg frame.
It might also be worth looking at old threads on this forum, as I'm sure it's been discussed here in the past.

paper label
I had an old turquiose vinyl upholstered Womb Chair with black metal legs. The chair and ottoman (I think) both had a Knoll tag on the underside. The metal legs were not stamped Knoll.

Thanks...
....for your advice. My Womb Chair sure looks like the real deal, but I want to be sure, so I'm going to e-mail Knoll and browse in the DA-forum.

Post a picture of your womb chair Mr. Eames, especially the underbelly, and how the clips are attached to the cushion.
Best,
Mark

Looks more real than not.
In your small photos, the way the back is stitched looks a little different from my chair. I'm not too concerned about that difference, though, and it might just be the photo anyway.
Higher-resolution photos, and photos of the whole chair, would make it easier to judge the chair's authenticity. Large photos shouldn't be posted here on DA, but you could post a link to them...
