Does anyone have photos of other things they've seen in this fabric? I've always wanted original shell chairs in Miller Stripe, but find it so infrequently. Anyways, great piece!

I admit that the colors kind of hurts my eyes a bit on the sofa (a bit too bright) but works fine on the chairs. I actually like the fabric but I think it would bother my eyes on a large piece.
And is that red and purple or pink and purple? If it is pink, then I would never have the fabric as pink is not a favorite color of mine.

I had to grow up using a hideously pink bathroom...courtesy of my older sister. Ever since, I have only been able to tolerate pink in smaller amounts LOL

The O P's
sofa is actually very faded. Fresh examples of that fabric are eye bleedingly, wall paper peelingly bright. If mrs. GA approves, I will post a pic to illustrate the point. No promises.

Does this help?
A brighter shot of the same chairs. Someone posted a suite Jacket when I originally posted these. Was that Mark? I still have it in my files.

Here you go.
You should wear this when seated on the couch.

I love that jacket.
And it would have looked stunning with yesterday's casual lunch attire (with a different belt, natch).
Fondly,
Aunt Mark

Comparison
A shy Mrs. GA modeling the above jacket and seated on an eames sofa compact We always thought this sofa that our friend owned was bright till the day the two pieces met. The jacket ( IIRC) was custom made for staff at a Herman Miller showroom in London during the 70's. This one was never used and was stored in a closet till recently.
