I wish! This estate sale looks amazing but I bet the $$$$ will be amazing as well.
Scroll all the way down to see all of the goodies.

This is not a promotion I am not affiliated at all. I just thought it was great looking at other collections.

Yeah, I saw that you had posted that on FB. Some great pieces. I am particularly fond of the Scarpa chairs. I wish I lived closer. Thanks for sharing.

The house
MCManiac , I would take the house in that estate sale.
Makes me wonder if my house will be listed like that some day when I kick the bucket.

Ooo!
That is one magnificent spread in that Minnesota sale. I was especially excited to see the set of stemware that is a deep blue fading to brown with clear stems. I've asked about it here before but never had a photo. In all the auctions I've been to over the years, I've never seen any of it. My roommate in college had some pieces given to her by a friend whose family was Finnish and I have always thought it was probably Iittala, but have never been sure.
Anyway, it's good to see more of it. I was beginning to think I'd dreamed the whole thing. (Not really.)

I'm not completely sure
Spanky, but think those might be Swedish-

That looks to be a lovely home.
But if It were mine...I would have opted for a standing-seam metal roof, as opposed to the asphalt shingles. But what a sweet facade.
just a thought,

ps.
I'm not convinced that the Barcelona chairs are a Knoll product. The upper straps and back cushions don't look quite correct. But then, I'm usually wrong.
Best,
Aunt Mark

Thanks, Robert-
I just googled Pukeborg Tropico and couldn't find any stemware, only decanters. And they had a brighter blue and a more gold than brown, so I dunno...
These were discontinued in 70s. My roommate loved them and would get very upset whenever one got broken. They had their own shelf in the bookcase in our roach-infested upper west side apartment in NYC back then. Those were the days...

I've only ever
I've only seen that colour graduation from Goran Worff and Bengt Orup
I did some digging too and found this- not that it's conclusive.
Glass is always tricky, though it's my speciality x

Bingo!
Thank you so much!
The color looks a lot different than the taller pieces but that's probably just due to the lack of height.
