Well, I own this same piece (little dresser),
but with a rack on top (like the picture in the first pic).
I really like the refinement in all these pieces. I've seen references to Fristho too, but don't know if this is a correct one..

I have a coffe table by Watting
It is a lovely, very idiosyncratic table with 6 sides and 3 pairs of leg. It is totally unique and I fell in love with it immediately. I will post pics later but I think you will be able to see the family resemblance with the bookshelves immediately.
I think his stuff is very elegant and slightly quirky. Nice combination.
These are pics of another Watting table. Don't have any of mine I can find just now.

Side table
I picked up this table a while back, but noted that the flattened sides were unfortunately not original.

Watting table
This is a simple Watting table. It is modular. Add uprights to the legs and it becomes the bookshelf in the first posting of this thread.
In my opinion, this is Wattings simpler stuff. What he was really good at were exquisite, rather complicated designs like the table I posted earlier in this thread.

Yes Scandesign,
I didn't know the table you posted some messages ago.
Looks very refined, almost over the top.
Who produced these? Was he as well a designer as a producer?
Did he have his own company?

I am not sure. I don't think...
I am not sure. I don't think he produced. I will check. My table, which I promise to get some pictures of, is not as .... can't find the words. But Watting seemed to despise simple, rectangular tables. Tried all kinds of shapes. I just have to get all the junk off the table and I will get some pics.
Maybe I can find a manufacturers stamp somewhere.
