Who designed this mid century rosewood desk?

Does anyone recognise the designer of this large desk?

I have bought it here in Australia, the previous owner said his Dad imported it from Europe in the 60's.
Any information would be great!

Gorgeous.
Carefully clean body oils and surface crud, then respectfully enjoy. Eventually, restoration including veneer repair and refinishing. Is that a leather panel ? It looks quite decent . . .
