Who could help ID-ing this pottery/bowl

My mother has this fruitbowl allready for quite some time. She can't remember where she bought it and who the maker is. Can anybody identify the origin, which country, or the markings on the underside.
She will appreciate it very much and it will refresh some memories for her.

Hallmark search
A wonderful site is ceramic-link.de for ceramic hallmarks. I checked the major Italian ceramic companies and this hallmark failed to show. It is possible that it was produced by a small studio potter with little fame, and, hence, no real provenance. Does your mother at least remember where she purchased it (country) and when?

That...
...definitely says "Italy," so, I would begin searching the usual suspects....Raymor etc...
However, the output of ceramics and pottery from Raymor alone was staggering, so finding a definitive match may prove difficult/futile...
