I have a wall mounted articulated lamp often attributed to Rene Mathieu.
These lamps pop up from time to time and achieve quite respectable sums at auction however I have found very little information about the designer.
Does anyone have any background knowledge of Mathieu ?, I'd be very interested to learn more about him.
(BTW, there was a post recently asking for good reading chair suggestions. The Boomerang chair with its stubby little Tyrannosaurus arms are perfect for resting your elbows on whilst holding a book. The angle of recline and level of comfort have proven to be the best reading chair I have found).

.
Seems as if both are existent.

Thank you Mark and Rockybird, yes the chair is a Hvidt & Nielsen Boomerang, my new favourite reading chair.
Thank you Onno and Vintagestique, some interesting bits of information in there but it has thrown up a new questions, is Rene Robert or is Robert Rene?
It is clear that there is a real paucity of information about this designer and manufacturer.
