Cool!
Even with my very limited understanding of French that was educational. My hubby managed to break the pestle to our Atelier Orange Morter and Pestle set and now I understand better what I was looking at inside the broken pieces! The replacement pestle I got was an even better design than the first and the set is about the best I've ever used for spice crushing.
Hey, Koen, did you ever design a butter dish? I'm still looking
I Olive!
I was a little bit surprised about the publication of this intervue on DA. Sometimes Alix and Patrick are just too enthousiastic...I was also hesitant because the place is compared with a normal production day, almost empty...which is never very realistic. I am please you enjoyed it. The next time I will do it in swedish...
We are actually producing three butter dishes for 1 lb, 1/2 lb and 1/4 lb. but it is not the kind you would like so...may I ask for even more patience??. I am going to get there...Thanks for the comments on the new pestle. I would not take the risk to send it to you if I was not convinced that it was slightly better, but it is nice to have it confirmed. Enjoy it!
Can I see images?
I'd love to see what you came up with for butter dishes. maybe I'll learn something! I usually do when you're involved. For now I am using a carrera marble 'butter bell'. It is not a bad option. I don't have to look at the butter and the water bath concept preserves the butter nicely. But the design is short on modernist style and can't be cleaned in the dishwasher. I patiently wait upon your creative mind....
Lookee what I found...
Here I was surfing for new cookware and I find this!
