Ok, before anyone says it, I performed a search here on White Furniture with no info pertaining to my following questions.

With that said, I'd like to know what everyone thinks about the quality of their pieces...in person are they elegant and are they sturdy? Are there any flaws? Anything odd? I don't plan to buy any White Furniture, although their prices are astoundingly cheap, but I understand that you get what you pay for. However, I am very interested to know how faithful (or unfaithful) their reproductions are.

Thanks.

First of all
Their web site is flash. So they already lose 10 points for that.
You're still better off buying vintage anyway.

Crap
Their "reproductions" are crap. The swan/egg chairs look like they are sewn with baling twine. Their "Eames" chairs are ridiculously polished and completely fucked in their proportioning. Their LeCorbusier pieces were like sitting on cardboard boxes wrapped in black plastic vinyl. In short I have visited them numerous times and have found not one single redeeming feature about them.

I tried...
To throw one of their LCW down a flight of stairs and it literally *EXPLODED* on impact.
I have the burn scars to prove it.
