Where can I find chrome bases for these chairs

Hi all,
I came across a listing that sell only chair seats for a really good price, however I'm not sure if I should buy them since I don't know where I would go to find the chair bases? They're mid-century style so only those chrome bases would go. HEre are some pictures:

Do you think that the bases will cost too much? If someone could shed some light, I would really appreciate it.

hmmm..
alright.. do you still think it's not worth buying if it's $6 each? They have about 20 of them.

I think you know the answer to your question with out asking us. hell yes buy all you can for that price that is dirt cheap

They might be cheap, but they're not a lot of good without bases
If you have to get bases custom made, they might end up a very expensive chair

If they were original Jacobsen chairs, it would definitely have been worth finding bases for them.
These are cheap copies and even though $6 is indeed cheap, I doubt you will find new bases for them without spending almost as much as you would on a set of new and complete chairs...
