Hi, i'm new here! I just bought a desk and a cabinet with a very interesting mechanism to open the doors an the drawer by a push button. I'm interested to find out who made and who designed it. But I could not find it in my books. The threads on the screws is not metric, so I assume it is american on british.
Here are some pictures, may be one of you can help:

Thanks, Ole

Hi, thanks for your reply!...
Hi, thanks for your reply!
I found it in Germany, the vendor told me it was bought in the 70th in Stuttgart.
It is manufactured with much expenditure so I don't think that it is custom made.
All the knobs, the mechanism to open the drawer and doors, too much work for just one example. The wood is rosewood, all is very heavy. I removed one side because it was not tight, here you can see how it is made:

Considering
the design of the aluminum profile , my guess is thta it is older than the 70ties. You are right in expecting that it must be more than a prototype or custom made. Just the cost of an extrusion head would make this piece of furniture extremely expensive. Everything indicates that this is no standard profile but made for this design...Even the sides of the drawers look extruded and the panels are typical for high quality German manufacturing (solid wooden layer on both sides of the partical board) There are only a few large kitchen manufacturers in Germany so I would submit my question to them. This is not the work of a small black forest cabinetmaker.

I agree except....
Many thanks for your estimation! I agree, except it is manufactured in Germany, because I measured the threads at the screws and they are definitively not metric. I will try to find out what type the threads are.
Thanks, Ole
