I don't have one anymore. I am a charter Dwell subscriber but it keeps getting more bland.

design mags
once a month i review the mags that i take mostly all modern, I have been real disappointed with el decor, metropolitan home,, modernism, atomic ranch . I do like metropolis,Interior design,Dwell although not always the most interesting for modern Architectual digest is always steller,
I am a little tired of seeing the homes of partners Bob and Larry and chuck and mike, and chris and Peter so forth and so on that seems to be all the homes that ElDecor chooses to use. and I could care less if they were gay or what ever there lifestyle is , I just think the homes are not done that nice and are a real disappointment . Now please don't use the words well he doesn't like gay couples. not the case at all I just think some of the verbage
that they use should be in another magazine . pick up the current issue and you will see what i mean .

Hi LRF, I agree in general that design magazines sometimes are disappointing. They take advance on design lovers who will buy them even it they aren't completely happy about them because they can't find any alternatives.
Wallpaper itself is disappointing me a lot in this issue because the Gallery slideshow "The Farm Project uncovered" is horrible and cruel. I stopped watching it before it was finished.

I think we are all in agreement they are really getting boring... I use to love El decor but wow has it got boring and so has metropolitan home. what I was refering to the same sex couples homes just don't seem to have any spark to me, you would think that they would .... i know usually one of the guys is in the business and you would think that would want to showcase there best work like there personal home but i have not found that in this magazine .
I had the photographer of my home summit the pictures that were in the local magazine here in Tulsa for consideration at El Decor and i got a big fat no thanks there reason is they work 18 months out and they felt mid century modern has been over done and the color skim will change, thanks for summiting your pictures great house . (does not make much sence that mid-century modern is overdone??? what are they thinking?
I guess we get to see more of Chuck and Larry 's home in the comming months.
Hopefully they will find some couples male female, female female, male male ,or even a only lonely (that would be the best by far) that will have better homes to look at.

A friend and I went into a very particular persons house once and moved all of her stuff I inch to the left or rotated it a few degrees. We left as she was returning, she was very angry but we thought it was very funny.
Try it.
