ah, ok
I'm not sure how I got the idea that you were Danish, koen.
The water in Denmark is so hard that you have to add a salt product to your dishwasher and washing machine or they will be ruined very quickly. The salt products are sold right next to the detergents in the stores.
We had in-floor heating in our bathrooms and any water left on the floor to dry would leave white mineral residue right away.
The Ensen faucet shows fingerprints, too. I'll just have to get into the habit of wiping it down daily. I just love the look of it and also the action of the lever---very smooth and solid-feeling.

the most impressive..
ikea piece for me is the RINGO barstool. it's a classic with a very appealing line. i also like it as a sidetable to put down my book or teacup when i am reading (most sidetables are too low in my opinion: with this stool you only need to move your arm slightly sideways to reach your teacup, instead of performing downward 'stretching callanetics' every time you are willing to take a sip of your tea.)
For me this stool perfectly merges form & (double: seating + table) function with a very affordable price.

I'm addicted to the 365+ serie.
This year I enjoyed the Ikea PS Hamneda made from Indian newspapers.
