Eames shell. I think a dcm on its own looks plain. A single fiberglass shell can be sculptural.

Eames Shell
Speaking only for myself, a vintage Eames shell not only has sculptural interest, but a complexity of visual texture and color that I never get tired of, even after many years. There is also translucency in some of the earlier chairs that is often stunning.
While wood may be generally more famous for richness of surface, the classic shells offers so much more to look at. All so different....
Go vintage. You wont be sorry!
