Luna!
I'd say you scored, FREE99 is the best price. Beautiful pieces, I'm a junky for Danish! My favorite two are the credenza, the chair is okay but for free. Hey!

Original Eames Storage Units
Only yesterday I bought 2 ESUs (circa 1954) from a man selling them on craigslist. I got a 4x2 and a 2x2 for $200. I'd say that they are only in 'fair' condition but they are rock solid and beautiful nontheless. I also got a Knoll desk for $100. It was an amazing sale!
I'm having a heck of a time figuring out what they are worth. I've searched the internet and can't find any for sale.

Wow -- you hit the Craigslist...
Wow -- you hit the Craigslist jackpot! Congratulations. They're definitely worth several thousand dollars. You can find auction records for the ESUs pretty easily through google (just search "Eames ESU auction").

Thank you!
I checked and they have the original labels inside the drawers. You should have seen the looks I got from the other folks at the sale. The seller opened up his storage unit and we about fell down dead from the sight of all the amazing pieces he had. A man offered me $2000 cash before I even had them loaded in my truck. I live in New Mexico and our craigslist postings are some slim pickings but I search them loyally every day and I just happened to email the seller within minutes of the posting. I think Ray and Charles were smiling down on me that day.

Not my best bargain find...
Not my best bargain find ever....but certainly the best today. Was out hitting the yard sales this morning, found this great Nakashima style slab bench. Great freeform shape, beautifully peg jointed legs. Not bad for $135...I was stoked! Sorry about the poor iPhone pics 🙁 they don't do it justice

Based on the crappy pics...
Based on the crappy pics above, can anyone identify the type of wood used on this bench/table.....my best guess is walnut...but I'm not even close to sure. Thanks!

Wood
My best guess is pine from the pictures, but its very difficult to tell without knowing the weight of the piece, or whether the color is the wood or a stain. But the graining and more-so the knots make me think pine.
Heath, have you got any thoughts?

The slab is stained.....as for the weight, it is about 7.5 feet long and I could pick it up and carry it myself (I'm not a muscleman nor am I a weakling) I'd say around 50-60 lbs

Bought an oak Hans Wegner W2...
Bought an oak Hans Wegner W2 chair the otherday on ebay for $4.50! I felt sorry for them though so gave them about $40 which is obviously still a great deal.

That was a generous gesture ( ...the gratuitous forty bones)
Some Ebay-bargains are too obscene to relish, for the buyer with a conscience.
I've never actually paid additional money, but I've occasionally been tempted to apologize in the "remarks" box on the Paypal invoice. (I've resisted the temptation, recognizing that talk is cheap, and it might only aggravate the seller.)
You're a mensch.
